The lovely people over at Carsonified must have been reading their Roald Dahl book again recently because they have created the most amazing competition. The idea is that one lucky blogger will win the ultimate ticket for all the Carsonified events for a year. They’ll even fly you to one of them and put you up in a nice hotel. How great is that. All you have to do to enter is submit a URL of a post on your blog that links to their competition (which this one did a sentence or two earlier but here it is again anyway!).
Now I was going to go to FOWA this year and was really looking forward to it. But unfortunately a holiday in Peru sapped up all my holiday days so I had to ask for a refund (that or incur the wrath of Lucy). So if you’d like to help me get a ticket to go to another of their great conferences instead, please leave a comment. I only need 25 unique comments to be entered. Cheers!

No, only kidding… it is indeed a fantastic idea for a competition, and I thought I’d help you out since you bought one of my t-shirts.
And because you offered cake on Twitter. Personally I prefer some manner of chocolate cake. Just so you know.
But yes, if I had a blog, I’d do it myself – which just goes to show what an awesome bit of link bait this competition is… inspired.
I might even make it to one of the conferences myself, but like Charlie, I don’t have much chance of winning a golden ticket. Maybe I’ll find a blog in the street somewhere.
